Black Vintage Art Nouveau Italian Greyhound Pin

Here is a vintage celluloid pin in the shape of a gorgeous Italian Greyhound. The style is art nouveau..which actually preceeded art deco. This dog is well proportioned and detailed. Around the neck is a raised relief beadwork collar. Each tiny bead is meticulously presented. Suspended from the neck is a small bauble of your choice. Measurements are: 2.4" L x 2.25" H. This particular casting took place circa 1920. This is NOT a reproduction but a vintage component with an added modern day pin with safety clasp attached to the back. Celluloid was an early form of plastic that came before bakelite. It is absolutely lovely!
