St. Anthony / St. Francis Medal

This is a 1/2" x 3/4" medal featuring St. Anthony (patron Saint of lost things) on one side and St. Francis on the other. It is made of a silvery colored lightweight metal. A few years back at 11:00 p.m. a man unexpectedly attempted to drop an unwanted Italian Greyhound off at Mary Frankio's house (Mary is a rescue rep). Not enough care was taken by the man when removing the dog from the back seat of his car... and the dog escaped. Mary was heartsick. Days and weeks went by with no sign of the lost IG. Gramma Frankio advised her daughter to pray to St. Anthony. Mary prayed and the dog was found almost immediately in another town. The person who found the dog was very caring and eventually adopted the IG himself. It was such a happy ending for an exceptionally sweet Italian Greyhound. Now...all of Mary's rescues plus her own dog's wear this medal on their collars!
